Northeast Indiana Innovation Park (55 acre Campus)
“Live, Work, Learn, & Lead”A vision for the High Tech Corridor of Northeast Indiana
We believe that technology-based companies and high-tech entrepreneurs grow best when surrounded by their peers in a rich technology environment wrapped in a modern community that is geared to their growing lifestyle. A place where life, work and learning converge and thrive. A place that attracts and develops brilliant and creative minds, industrious people and growing companies that generate great, economy-driving innovations. A place where people can live, work and learn, and love it.
We're fulfilling that vision and promise at the corner of St. Joe and Stellhorn Roads - a 55 acre parcel of land harmonizing with the adjoining campuses of Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), Indiana University’s regional School of Medicine, the IPFW Center for Industrial Innovation & Design, and Ivy Tech Community College’s Keith Busse Technology Center, supporting its automotive technology program, professional continuing studies, and rapid prototyping/injection molding capabilities. Convenient shopping, recreation, culture and abundant housing radiate out in all directions.
The Innovation Campus itself is anchored by the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center, a 40,400 square-foot complex of laboratories and high-tech offices in two wings - Biomedical Science & Advanced Security, and Technology Acceleration - with a central hub housing shared business resources, central staff, and experiential learning & training programs. This ISO 9001:2000 facility is Indiana's fifth Certified Technology Park. The core building has several expansion wings planned to support targeted regional clusters of diversified technology and biomedical businesses focused on life saving and life enhancing products, applied research, and commercialization efforts. When completed as planned, our core facility will expand the Center to over 90,000 square feet. The Emerging Growth Center, our second stage facility, for growing companies who want the amenities of the Park but their own identity and image was completed in Mid-2009. This 32,000 sq foot facility will house up to 6 high growth companies. The Innovation Center is at the hub of Northeast Indiana's High Tech Corridor.
Our bold 20/20 Plan:
- 10 buildings in the next 10 years
- Over 300,000 sq feet of high tech space/services under management
- Over 1,000 technical and business professionals living, working and learning in a “high tech, high touch” environment with the state-of-the-art infrastructure, professional amenities, and accelerated growth resources to attract, grow, and retain innovative technology businesses.
The Innovation Park Campus is truly a place to live, work and learn, and love it.
