NIIC’s Certified Technology Park, a 55 acre innovation campus, provides new ventures a turnkey package of physical facilities, amenities, and services that they could not afford on their own – all bundled together in one affordable program fee/investment. Many of the services are not typically found or available in most commercial buildings.
The Innovation Center’s comprehensive business development/business consulting leverages:
- Full time, on staff business coaches, innovation experts/facilitators, and regional subject matter experts
- Proven coaching methodologies that build off of resources that accelerate venture development (One Page Business Plan, Dream Manager coaching, Stages Of Growth Coaching, Kauffman Fasttrac coaching program and internally developed technology commercialization models for accelerating business growth)
- Project-based coaching services focused on venture assistance in:
Access to capital (how to raise capital and what not to do in raising capital);
Access to service providers (lawyers, accountants, strategists, specialized equipment and/or facilities, and networking);
Access to talent (recruitment, retention, and growth of human capital required to move the business idea to launch and commercialization);
Access to strategic alliances/relationships (primarily with higher education partners and community organizations that could provide reciprocal and beneficial relationships to the Project and its clients);
Access to “strategic” resources (individual high deductible health insurance, consulting services, benefit plan design, business insurance etc.); and
Access to mentorship and coaching (an emphasis and focus on product marketing, sales, intellectual property, technical advice, and doing business with the State and Federal Government.
